A first sight, it seems to be good idea : a dice rules your life. What makes this novel a real achievement is that the idea is pushed to the far and dark side of human behavior. I borrowed this book, I would never have bought it. For one thing, I didn't like the cover. Now most of the books I read are chosen using dice theory. I no longer have the restriction of "judging a book by it's cover". Go on buy the book. It's a great read and you'll have an invaluable skill.Book Review: This is the kind that makes you think

Although some of the premises in the book were a little out there, it really is the type of book that makes a person think about life, free will, societal constraints, etc. The copy that I received was in great shape, as they typically are from Amazon. The concept of letting an arbitrary force decide the course of your life is interesting, and could even be portrayed as exhilharating, but in the hands of such a verbose, overblown stylist as Luke Rheinhart it quickly looses its appeal.Book Review: Favorite present

It is the only present I gave to anyone (even my younger brother who couldn't read at that time) since I read it and if I already gave it to them, I give it again, for them to give as a present and "spread the news" and I've been thanked with joy all the time.
