Book Reviews of The Digital Photography Book, Volume 3Book Review: Great and Straight and to the Point Summary: 5 Stars
I have Kelby's two earlier volumes of this book and found them to be excellent. I am and 'old hand' at photography as to 55 years and back to the time of film and wet processing. The books helped me recall many of the things I did in the past and it did so in the light of the digital medium. Kelby is a run writer and a real treasure in photography.
I recommend the highly and even purchased a second copy for my photography lady friend.....she is delighted as well.

Book Review: The legacy continues Summary: 5 Stars
I am not a pro photographer but certainly a newbie and love it. I've been reading stuff from Brian Peterson, Joe Mcnally and Scott.. And No one beats Scott.. He makes this art look like a childs play and that camera the most user friendly thing.. I had great expectations from this book because both the earlier volumes were awesome and I should admit, I am not let down.. I really really hope he releases the volume 4 soon. Take my word! This is a must have book.
Book Review: Excellent Again Summary: 5 Stars
I am so totally sold on Scott Kelby's presentations of material that when I saw this book was coming out, I knew it would be excellent. Just like the previous 2 books in the series, each page is a "snapshot" lesson that is clear and practical for an enthusiast or a newbie to photography using a DSLR. This Volume 3 stands on it own yet also builds on the previous books. If Kelby decides to do a Volume 4 in the future, I will automatically buy it.
Book Review: priceless pieces of advice! Summary: 5 Stars
I have already read the two former books of the same series and I have to admit, among the many books I have studied being just an amateur, this series of books is worthy of every cent of it!!!Easy to follow, humorous, inspiring, the author also gives tips on cheap alternative solutions...Just perfect! My photographs have changed so much that people admire my work as if I were a pro even though I don't have the best equipment.Definitely a must!
Book Review: Easy and pleasant to read Summary: 4 Stars
This book picks up where Vol 2 stops. He breaks it down and teaches you those tips to enable you get those shots that you see in magazines. It's like you are being taught by a friend. It may not work for everyone but it does work for me. His books are easy and pleasant to read and understand.
Overall Volume 3 is a good book and you will learn new tricks. If you enjoyed Scott Kelby's other books you will enjoy this book.
