Book Reviews of The Digital Photography Book, Volume 3Book Review: Another great book in the series Summary: 5 Stars
I have really learned a lot from Scott Kelby's "Digital Photography" series, as well as his Photoshop Elements 7 Book for Digital Photographers book. Great information, and I use it as a reference as well as re-read it occasionally to drive home all of the great advice. I've read the theory books before, and this series really gives you the up-to-date "How To" advice for a variety of situations -- well worth the purchase!
Book Review: The most read book on our bookshelf Summary: 5 Stars
I've already been shooting professionally for a few years now but I still seem to grab these books when I am looking for equipment ideas or general curiosity. I get into a rut when I shoot a particular way for a while and I get a lot of ideas from this series of books. Whenever one of my friends tell me they'd like to shoot more seriously I immediately recommend these books. Scott, write some more!
Book Review: Scott is fantastic Summary: 5 Stars
This is Scott's third volume that I have read and I can enthusiastically recommend all three. He has an easy way to explain a particular topic and it is done in a way that makes it interesting...not always easy to do. I am just a hobbyist but reading Scott's books has made me that much sharper and has increased my confidence level. The inexpensive price makes purchasing his books easy.
Book Review: Book three for Scott Kelby Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased Scotts first book and I really like it and then got two and now three and I can say that all of them are excellent. Scott has a way of explaining photography so that you get it. Just the right things to do to get great photos.
I teach beginning photography and I use his material all the time for my students as it is so well versed. This series is a keeper.
Book Review: Third Book of the Lovely Scott Kelby's Book Summary: 4 Stars
Just as his previous two The Digital Photography Book series, this one is also a great book. His approach of straight forward tips and tricks is what really suits me. But I think, as his third book in the series, some of the tricks have been covered in the previous book. I still like it anyway, and if he ever published the fourth book, I believe I would still buy it.
