Book Review: If dogs could talk....

If dogs could talk, they will be saying what's written in this book. When I got the book, I perused it and was disappointed that there are not much text written in it about the dogs. I had thought that I will read stories about each dog in more details but instead this book is full of pictures. But as I started to open each page and learn about each dog from the short written pages and then looked at the pictures, I started to get in touch with the feelings of the dogs. These dogs were strayed, abused, and mistreated. To learn what had happened to them before and to see the pictures of how happy they are now is really an enlightening experience. So, seeing the pictures of the dogs is really important. Seeing their eyes is more important than reading texts about them. Bravo!Book Review: The Dogs In My Life

The Dogs In My Life by The Supreme Master Ching Hai is an unique book detailing how Master Ching Hai end up with each of her many pet dogs and there are many beautiful photos with captions of the what the dogs want to express. You can see the love she gives her dogs and they obvious adore her as well. Through these many wonderful glossy pages of beautiful pictures we can appreciate that dogs are loving, loyal and forgiving beings and if we treat them with love and respect, we will receiving many folds in return. Thank you, Master Ching Hai for sharing with us the ultimate lesson,love for all beings... be it dogs or birds (The Birds in My Life also written by Master Ching Hai about all her wonderful feathered friends).

The Dogs in My Life, Vol. 1
From the book you got some stories of the adopt dogs and feel the compassion and love of the owner who takes care of them so well. You will be interested that how could the dogs communicate with their master and human so well. Also I feel the love they have with them. They really love their master so much. After reading the book I feel like I can communicate with my guinea pig better than before. And I really enjoy loving her now.

When Supreme Master Ching Hai saw the scars on his body, She cried and hugged him tight, and Pomas let her know that She should not worry. "The scar in my heart is healed already!" ... That is only one small portion excerpt from the book. It touched my heart when I read about Pomas and other dogs. Dog has such a noble heart. One will know more about their thoughts, feelings, and many more after reading both books: The Dogs in My Life Volume 1 and 2.Book Review: Sparkling to treat animals as our friends

I always discuss the dogs described in the book to my son. He has new insight about dogs and expand his ideas to the other animals. Before, he is so scary about big dogs that bark him. But now he is trying his best to show his love to stray dogs/ big dog and feed them with vegetarian dog foods. He is so enjoy to play with dog now. I hope if all children/ everyone can have a chance to view the book could uplift their mind of treating animals as friends.
