Book Reviews of The Faith of George W. BushBook Review: How his faith connects to his presidency Summary: 4 Stars
I just finished this one last night.
This is a light read, but gives interesting insights into the man and how his faith connects to his presidency.
Unlike the writers of most of the negative reviews, I actually read this book.
The bias liberal media tries to brainwash us into believing that George W. Bush is not intelligent. It is not true.
Despite the millions upon millions of dollars spent on smearing the president, he won the election.
That deeply hurts the liberals.
Take a look at the other reviews done by these sore losers.
They don't read these books; they just go from one political book to another, spewing more of their liberal lies.
To them I say, maybe you should actually sit down and read a book before you review it, because you're current poison tactics aren't working.

Book Review: I wish every biographer wrote the way Mansfield does! Summary: 5 Stars
I loved Mansfield's style in telling us the story of our president's faith. Many writers fall in love with their own style and ability to write and they just do way too much of it - bogging the reader down. This book, however, recounts Bush's journey through life without any holes, but at a very rapid rate. So it has a very sweeping effect on the reader. Every paragraph sucks you right into the next one. Mansfield has gone into very intimate areas of our president's past that obviously required tremendous research. Thus, we have a story that is heart-warming and heroic, but what makes it so heroic, as with any story, is that we also get an honest look at the not so flattering times of Bush's past. So we see just how far he had fallen and what he had to overcome to be who he is today. I loved this book!!
Book Review: Assurance of Christian leadership Summary: 4 Stars
George W. Bush was an unlikely candidate for the U.S. presidency in his early days. Overshadowed by his high-achieving father and without a coherant plan for his life, he floundered until his Christian conversion led to lofty goals and plans. This book details the gradual awakening of Bush's spiritual side, with influence from his wife Laura, Billy Graham and other Christian leaders. From a carefree playboy, he became a devout, religious man who was not afraid to express his beliefs in a sometimes unfriendly political arena. Since becoming President, he has seen issues through the filter of his Christianity and he has responded accordingly. This book is profoundly comforting in its portrayal of our highest leader as a man of God. It gives me great hope for the future of our country.
Book Review: Fairly factual but biased... Summary: 2 Stars
This book is basically a biography of Bush's life from a more religious perspective. In it they compare how Bush's beliefs supposedly shaped his life.
While the book seems truthful it leaves out alot of facts. It does not mention the scadals going on at the time or screw ups he had made.
The other problem is that the book is dated as it was released pre his reelection. The author might be writing a totally different book about how religion screwed up his presidency with the scandal and blunders hes in now.
In the end it was a decent read thoug for facts i would rather stick to a less biased source. As i said this author seemed very much like a buddy of Bush's putting a book out for him.
