Book Reviews of The Faith of George W. Bush

Book Review: The TRUTH About George W. Bush
Summary: 5 Stars

With all of the negative books about George W. Bush in the market, it is about time that someone has the courage to write an unbiased book about our president and his faith. As an Christian independent with conservative leanings, it has helped me see how the president's policies have been influenced by his relationship with God. And as someone whose past has not always followed God's path, I can relate to the president's sometimes checkered past. The engaging, narrative writing style is easy to read.
I let my father-in-law, a long-time labor Democrat read the book, and he said he had gained a newfound respect for the president. I hope the same will be said for other Christians who read this book with an open mind.

Book Review: W The President
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an outstanding read if you want to get to know what shaped George W. Bush's life, belief sytem, and his values. It begins at George W.'s birth, and follows his journey of faith all the way up to the September 11th attacks. It's a spiritual journey of reawakening. There is one part of this book that brought my father, a Vietnam War veteran, to tears when he read it. It was about George W. Bush, the Commander-in-Chief, kneeling beside a wounded soldier and saying a prayer for him. It certainly taught me about George W., the man, and how faith guides him through every step of his life. My admiration for him has grown by leaps and bounds after having finished this book.

Book Review: His Faith is Important to me
Summary: 5 Stars

After reading this book, I was relieved to know that we have a president that is human enough to admit that he believes in God and isn't afraid to do that.

In the book Bush starts out like most of us, stupid and full of mistakes on how to live and be in this world. It shows how he came out of that chaos by two big events. First by meeting Laura and then second, meeting the Lord. There is a humility in Bush that makes him approachable and more real than some of our previous presidents. This book portrays that so well. It brought peace of conscience and a sense of hope that our country has a chance to do good in the face of evil.

Book Review: George W. Bush: A Man of Faith!
Summary: 5 Stars

"The Faith of George W. Bush" takes an inside look at the man behind the presidency. Detailing how a man went from empty and a failure to a successful Baseball manager, Governor of Texas, and the 43rd President of the United States, while chronicling his return to the faith of his childhood. It is a deeply moving and personal story of a man who feels is doing God's will in the White House. Even if you don't agree with his policies, "The Faith of George W. Bush" will give you a glimpse at a man who redeemed himself in the eyes of God, and whose every move since then has lead him to the oval office. This book will not dissappoint. Grade: A+

Book Review: Great Job!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a very good book. Finally, a real look at a true man of God. This book shows how he lives by & has guided this country by his faith in God. He will be the first to admit he not always lived the way he should have, but he always had the religious background. I have always thought highly of Mr. Bush, not only when he was governor of my home state, but as the president and as a fellow christian. This is a very revealing book of his faith and his life in general. This was a book that once I opened it I could not put it down. Every so often It did sort of drag, but it is a GREAT book about our President. I plan to read it again.
