Book Review: TOO COMPLICATED!!!!

I've read the book and chose to give it two stars for two reasons; 1) Watson provides a well developed "formula" for determining how many calories, and grams of fiber one needs in order to lose weight, 2) I learned alot about the benefits of a high fiber diet.
The problem is that Watson doesn't include whole foods as the sole source of dietary intake. I think that legumes are down played in the book because she's too busy pushing her shakes and bars.
Shakes and bars give me heartburn, therefore the plan is too "processed" for me. A large majority of the foods on the plan require that one go to a health food market. She suggests using various nutritional supplements of vitamins and minerals, just too many.
I can't imagine anyone eating that way for life, it's unrealistic. Not to mention murder on a weak stomach. How nice it would be if someone came up with a plan to use whole foods, with lots of beans, veggie dishes, fruits and lean protein.
Lets not mention the annoying excersize schedule. I would think running around to find the ingredients should be excersize enough.
I also warn you, if you don't drink the recommended water intake, be mindful of the stomach cramps!
