Book Reviews of The Food Processor BibleBook Review: Awesome - must have cookbook Summary: 5 Stars
I just bought myself a food processor and thought it would be good to have a book to help me use it more. This book is awesome. I have only had it a few weeks but everything I've made has been excellent. The Crusty French Bread is THE BEST BREAD I have ever made. It took maybe two minutes of mixing and the rest of the time was waiting. It was so easy. I also tried the make-and-bake pizza. Again, maybe two minutes of mixing and the dough was ready to go and it was perfect.
What I love is the recipies use everyday ingredient, not fancy stuff and they are easy to read and easy to execute. I read the entire section on "Using your food processor" first. I have lots of cookbooks, but clearly this is one that will get referenced often.
If you are considering purchasing this book, don't hesitate, it is excellent.
Book Review: Good information, but not a lot to it Summary: 4 Stars
I got this book when I got my new food processor. While the recipes are great (especially the whole wheat bread), there are many other cookbooks out there that have better ones. I feel like a lot of the steps in the recipes could be done more quickly by hand. For example, mincing one clove of garlic in a food processor is pretty pointless.
However, for anyone new to their food processor (or to the kitchen), this does a nice job of giving you ideas for how to use that machine. The recipes just weren't outstanding enough for me to give it a 5 star. After all, if you are making ordinary food, you can do that without a food processor. You should want to use a food processor to help make outstanding food, otherwise you may as well just make some hamburger helper.
Book Review: Great Recipes, and Easy! Summary: 5 Stars
I received a food processor for a birthday gift, and had no experience at all with one. The booklet that came with it only had a couple of recipes, and didn't really explain very well the uses of the various blades, etc. I bought this book and I love it! It really helped me to understand my machine, and the first recipe I used was for pie crust. It was honestly the best I've ever made, and I bake a lot. I made several batches and froze them for later use. The book is packed with yummy recipes, and they don't call for a lot of expensive or hard to find ingredients, a special section for Passover, and it gives many tips for how to get maximum use with minimum clean-up. I will treasure and use this book and pass it down someday.

Book Review: Great Book Summary: 5 Stars
I just bought a food processor at Christmas time because all though I like to cook and bake, I do not like to chop ingredients up. This book is a wealth of great information and recipes. Everything is easy to understand too. I highly recommend this book to anyone who owns a food processor, beginners or experienced cooks will enjoy it! The best thing I like about ordering books through Amazon is that they come in perfect condition. At book stores, people look through them and they look used. Amazon books come in sealed plastic wrap so they can't be bent or soiled.
I really look forward to trying out more recipes in this book. The Vegetable Lentil soup is wonderful!
