Book Reviews of The Food Processor Bible

Book Review: Food Processing Made Easy!
Summary: 5 Stars

When I bought my new food processor, I knew I would need help to learn how to use it. So I made a special effort to find this particular book, because Norene Gilletz wrote it! Having already purchased one of her other cookbooks, I knew I would find an abundance of know-how and delicious, simple to make recipes. Norene has the rare knack for explaining everything in her book simply and clearly, from food processing, to terminology, to how to's. It's like having your own private cooking instructor!

Book Review: NOT FOR THE SOUTHERN COOK
Summary: 1 Stars

Not for a Texas farm girl!
No ham, pork roast, bacon drippings, make your own sausage recipes!
Great book for Kosher cooks including a whole chapter on Passover but no Easter Ham.
I just couldn't relate to the recipes.
"NO PICTURES" and I mean "NO PICTURES AT ALL NOT EVEN OF THE FOOD PROCESSOR OR IT'S PARTS", very important to a cook.
I don't even know anyone I could give this book too.
Sorry but I returned for a refund!
Regards, Linda Henson

Book Review: Half of a great book
Summary: 3 Stars

I agree with the other reviewers about the number of terrific recipes, tips and tricks included in this book.

But I was EXTREMELY disappointed that the recipes do not include the nutritional information. In this day and age where obesity is skyrocketing, it is irresponsible not to include information that helps us choose recipes that are not only tasty, but healthy for us as well.

I hope this information will be included in the next edition.

Book Review: The Food Processor Bible
Summary: 3 Stars

The Food Processor Bible is alright as a cookbook but it would have benefitted by having more main meal recipes and pictures or illustrations for the visual learner. I have not really made any of the recipes in the book yet but I might be more inclined to try them if I could see what at least some of the recipes would look like when they were made. I am a new food processor owner and it would also have helped to have illustrations to show how to use the food processor.

Book Review: I just love this book it is a real processor bible
Summary: 5 Stars

It is defineatly a bible for food a food processor, I rely on it constantly. I am 60+ and can finally make pie crust. Have been making pies like crazy. Have not had home made pizza since my girls were teenagers, they used to make it. Now my husband and I enjoy it with the processor crust reciepe. I have a kitchen aide, best kitchen toy I have ever bought
