I thought the book was good and am looking forward to the movie. I didn't think it was nearly as bad as most of the reviews made it seem. I had put off reading it because of the reviews and am glad I finally gave in and bought/read the book.Book Review: Good, a bit uneven in character development

This was one of the best books I have read in a long time. It's a great story of friendships, both intended and unintended. It's warm and relatable without becoming soppy or overindulgent. Highly recommended!
