Book Review: I thought I was going to Love this book
Summary: 3 Stars
When I first started reading this book, I thought I was going to love it. I did enjoy the historical parts of this book. I did not enjoy the demeaning remarks about Christianity and Christians.
Unfortunately 3/4 of the way in, I felt the book fell completlely flat. Yet I continued. There was a shift in the writing and to me, several things came out of left field. The romance came out of nowhere and seemed unbelievable. I thought it was strange that a complete stranger, Juliet, was trusted with the beloved orphan Kit in such a short time frame. Also, the character Isola seemed to change into a strange lady. JMO!
