As previous editions this book is great for shooters interested in self defense. Definitely buy it with one consideration... it is an updated edition, therefore it has much of the 5th editions info included. Massad Ayoob is a master at shooting techniques!Book Review: A worthwhile read

Mr. Ayoob, as always does an excellent job whenever it comes to gun topics. If you have a gun in the house I would urge you to read his books. Even my wife who knows almost nothing about guns found the book interesting.Book Review: Excellent

Very knowledgeable author,he looks at many possibilities to a solution, stating pros and cons. Experianced and beginner alike will find this book very helpful.

Good book with nice pictures. I have read all of the tactical books and this is one of the best overall. Covers most basic topics and is an excellent book to read before buying a firearm for self protection.
