Book Review: He is a Master Chief for a reason!
Summary: 3 Stars
John, Spartan 117, is not a Marine. He is a UNSC Master Chief, and the only two branches of the military in the world that have a rank called Master Chief are the United States Navy and Coast Guard. He is a Sailor. If the stories are followed, you will find two other Spartans, both Second Class Petty Officers in the book Halo: Ghosts of Onyx. Yes he is a bio-mechanically enhanced human, but not a cyborg. And a Sailor!Book Review: Halo just keeps expanding and this one is awesome

This is a great novel. There isnt any thing really to add on from Halo or Halo 2 from this book but the stories are pretty cool. In this you get to see a couple of things that went on around Master Chief and they are pretty well done. And the art pages are sweet as well. I kinda wish some of them were posters. The Halo series of videogames has come a long way sense its first release, "Halo: Combat Evolved" in 2001. The novel recently released is a great way to finalise some questions left from the main story of Halo. It also adds some in depth descriptions on Master Chiefs armor. I bought this item for my brother's 19th birthday. He loves all 3 HALO games and this was a perfect addition to his collection. I myself was surprised to find that it is a really high-quality book. The artwork is inventive and stunning, while the stories offer additional viewpoints in the HALO narrative. I really enjoyed this book especially Simon Bisley's artwork for the "Infinite Voyage" story. The art rocked and finally reveals how the Arbiter gets his signature injury. The gallery pages are totally rocking. Anyone who is a fan of Halo or comic book art will enjoy this book. It makes a great gift. My girlfriend got me mine! Woohoo!!!
