Book Review: the ICU Bible

if you intend to deal with the ICU by any mean , this book is the must have one, the bible, the rules the one that will not survive with, if i were to be put on an isolated island and have 2 things only with me, this book would be one of them.
All that being said, yet i rate it 4/5 , no i am not schizophrenic, the material is pretty good, but the lay out and the user friendly touch is missing in this book, you cannot bond with this book easily ,b but you will have to , the illustrations are dull and few , this book being the Ace on the market needs some editor work to pump it up, for lone this book has stood alone with no other book within its size could deliver the same amount of info effectually (don't give me a 3000 pages textbook and compare it to this one OK !!), yet the ACP had issued their critical care guide which more or less of the same quality , size and more effort in the editing and lay out, yet still not to the optimum , i hope to see a 4th edition addressing not only the science but a new look , a more friendly lay out , nutshell tables, 2 colors may be, more diagrams.
so far the best in its category and a critical book for the ICU specially for internal medicine and surgery residents.
