The McCain campaign has basically tried to ruin this man's life in order to pick up a few votes in Florida. And they did so by systematically lying about his work, not to mention his affiliations. This kind of McCarthyism has no place in America. I'm buying Rashid Khalidi's book as a way of pushing back, and letting the smear merchants know that their bile will not work this time.
