Book Review: Great children story

I recently purchased this book for my grandson on the recommendation of a friend. I was not familiar with it but it is a beautifully written and illustrated story that teaches a lesson for the young or old. As an elementary teacher for over 30 years this is one of the best stories I have ever come across. I bought this book for my grandchildren to help them better understand love and the power of love overcoming fear.
I recommend daycare centers, pre-schools, and anyone with young children have this book on hand. It can be read to group and talked about or shared with an individual child who needs a little extra loving attention.

My son's day care provider told me about this book and let me borrow hers for a couple of days. My son, who is only 2, fell in love with the story, so I bought my own from Amazon. He just loves this story (along with my dramatization while reading) everytime I read it. It is so touching. Very nice for a mother and child moment.Book Review: perfect first day of school book

Such a sweet story which helped my "Mommy's Girl" 5-year-old daughter adjust to all-day Kindergarten this fall. I highly recommend it for those parents who also have little cling-ons. It will likely help them through their first days of being away at school "forever" in kid time (i.e., 7 hours in real time).
