And how she put on the jeans for the show...well after the show she ate normally and 2 days later the jeans didn't fit. Well same thing here. I was really excited the first 2 days when the scale showed a 5lb loss and I wasn't too hungry. Well on day three I went on a 30mile r/t bikeride with my family and became dizzy so I ate a carbwise protein bar at 200 calories/9 gram fat and 3 gram fiber (i like weight watchers and this is 4pts) and then a bowl of canned green beans (60 calories) topped with 1/4cup fat free cheese (45calories) and a cup of hot unsweetened tea for dinner. That's it. The next morning I was up almost 3 lbs.
I'm going to go back to following my weight watchers and forget the cleanse.
I know that some people swear by it and I think that's fabulous..but day in and day out of lemon/maple syrup and cayenne pepper made me just nauseaus. If I never see those 3 ingrediants again it will be too soon. This was only a few days...I cannot imagine 10-14 days of this. Not to mention the up and down frustrating scale experience over and over again. At least with WW it goes one way...down.

Peter's book offers valuable insights into this miraculous process and what your body undergoes during the cleanse. After my husband did the cleanse the first time in January, he lost 24 pounds, felt energetic for the first time in years, and his skin glowed! He just finished his second cleanse this past April and lost more weight. He's much happier and healthier. The dialogues and testimonials in the book help you understand the cleansing stages and enable you to identify with others who have already gone through it. Peter is an excellent guide, wisely encouraging you to stick with it and do it right, and addressing common issues along the way. He has taken Stanley Burrough's Master Cleanse and made it a guide for the common man. We are recommending the cleanse and Peter's book to friends, family, and co-workers. My husband is a walking testimonial to all who have not seen him since his dramatic transformation. I'm looking forward to doing my first cleanse this summer!
Book Review: A Miracle for Me! Summary: 5 Stars
I started the Master Cleanse to help jump start my weight loss program. I recommend this program to anyone who has tried to kick the diet soda, white flour, white sugar, and alcohol habit to no avail.
Although the plan is very simple, Mr. Glickman makes it even easier...guiding you through the process, which at times can be challenging (it is detoxing, afterall!).
The resutls speak for themselves.....I lost 17 pounds in 16 days. All the while feeling great and very motivated to continue. My preferance for foods has changed. I now crave vegetables, grains and fish. I have not had a Diet Soda (by choice) in over a month (6 used to be my minimum!!!) I have lost 3 more pounds since finishing my cleanse.

Book Review: Lemonade Diet--So Easy Anyone Can Do IT Summary: 5 Stars
I just finished the 10-day Lemonade Diet. This cleanse is simple and inexpensive. It was easy to do. I did not feel hungry at all! I reduced the amount of Maple Syrup and used this Master Cleanse not only to detox my body but to also lose a few pounds. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn about the benefits of the cayenne pepper for the body; especially, its benefit if you are having a heart attack. The lemonade juice/drink did not leave any after taste and I felt great with plenty of energy. I plan to repeat this cleanse the last of this month and two or three times throughout the year as needed. I also plan to continue the salt water bathing. I think this Lemonade Diet would benefit anyone and would recommend it to anyone.
Book Review: Spectacularly Successful Summary: 5 Stars
For most of my adult life, I've been a yo-yo dieter swinging around 60lbs on my 6'2" athletic frame. I've done Adkins, Southbeach, Weight Watchers and several other plans but always went back to my craving binges. I did my first MC about 3 months ago for 13-1/2 days with no cravings at all. Since concluding, I've been a maintained a much healthier diet and exercise routine even when travelling on a busy work schedule. There is no doubt in my mind that the principles behind Peter's recommendations are making significant improvements to my health and happiness. I plan on doing the MC at least 3 times a year- starting again next week.
Don't just buy and read this book- let it change your bad eating habits forever.
