Book Review: Good

THE LEOPARD PRINCE. Lady Anna and Harry Pye. Interesting name.... I was looking forward to this book....until I read it.
Lady Anna, a eccentric wealthy land holding spinster falls for her hunky land steward. You rarely see women inherit much of anything during that time period. But then again, the lands and money came from her eccentric aunt.
The Raven Prince had the earl marrying beneath him and there didn't seem to be a big stink about that, but then again there wouldn't be since he's a man after all. But resolving the issue of a common man marrying a wealthy aristocratic woman never played out in the end. I would have like to have seen how they interacted with society, tenants, family, and raising their children under such scrutiny. That was irritating not seeing how it unfolded. And sheep killing? Rather silly.
Nice love scenes, witty dialogue. Unconventional characters again making it a good read.
I'd recommend it. THE RAVEN PRINCE was better. Of course I'll read the next one......then move onto another author if it doesn't work for me. I'll give an author at least 3 books before I give up on them.
Summary of The Leopard Prince
THE ONE THING A LADY MUST NEVER DO...Wealthy Lady Georgina Maitland doesn't want a husband, though she could use a good steward to run her estates. One look at Harry Pye, and Georgina knows she's not just dealing with a servant, but a man.
