Book Review: EXCEPTIONAL ! ! !

Looks are like the only thing that matters these days.
Nobody really cares about personality or talent anymore.
For example look at the music industry of today.
It's full of beautiful people with little to no talent at all. Even newborn babies can tell a good looking woman from a not so good looking one. So it is very good if people begin to read books like that and the How to be a Super Hot Woman: 339 Tips to Make Every Man Fall in Love with You and Every Woman Envy You and put all tips into practice. If you want to look hot, I recommend you take the next step. It's a small investment that could change your life. Both books "The Little Black Book" and "How to be a Super Hot Woman" are highly recommended!
Book Review: Surprisingly inspirational

Having read quite a few books on fashion and style before, I expected this book to contain some of the same old advice (do's and don'ts for pear shaped body types, etc.) So it was a nice surprise to find it is more about inspiring the reader to find her way through fashion, giving out some basic advice and some great examples of where to draw inspiration from. In fact she could have even have elaborated a bit more on the inspiration examples, it was the best part of the book. Nina's writing is easy and entertaining, it really feels like she's sitting in front of you having a chat. The short interviews with the who's who in fashion are also fun to read, especially because they are kept short. The illustrations are beautiful, but I only wish the book had some more visual examples of the clothes.Book Review: Quick and easy read for style lovers

I know that being only 23 with a limited income living at home while trying to save money to pay for my wedding (at the time I read this book, anyway) makes the idea of wanting to reinvent my style seem a little lofty, considering the cost of clothes these days. However, after reading this book, I now know that it's not about the price or the label of your clothes - it's HOW you wear them. The only thing I didn't really like about the book was the tendency to have very wordy run-on sentences. I get that she was trying to be conversational...but in an advice book, I think short and sweet is the best policy. Although I must say I was pleasantly surprised to see all of the Rueben Toledo artwork in the book (he is PHENOMENAL!) as well as all the fabulous quotes! while i did enjoy this book, in the same way i enjoy project runway, i have to say i sometimes i find her a little full of herself, in the kind of "hit in the face" kind of way. i like watching it on tv because you can make fun and laugh along with your friends... it look a little weird when you are mocking her in the book... by youself... on public transport.
ok that was mean, i did enjoy this book and all the lovely illustrations. as a fashion devotee, it was a very good read, and a good insite into "investment shopping".
a good boook to purchase if you are just starting out on your own in the world and want to have those lush items in your wardrobe, but want you well earned pennies to last longer.
i would buy this for a friend or relative close to me age (20's)
Book Review: Life Changing!

Nina warns you in the begining of The Black Book of Style that this book would change your life, and it did! I first I went thru it like I would a magazine, picking and choosing topics I was inerested in reading, and then one day went back to really read it and found here advise speaking to my inner Muse. I have since gotten rid of all the items in my closet that didn't fit or flatter my style, and edited the "safe" items, I had too many safe items! I remember these words everytime I go shopping. Yes I'll buy a classic shaped pencil skirt but, it'll have a print, a kick pleat in back, some sparkle, something! Now I don't wait to wear the skirt with the metallic thread because, everyday brings forth a new opportunity to feel special and look Fabulous! Thanks Nina G.
