Wow... what a fantastic book!
I just want to tell you that reading your book has really been an absolute a pleasure for me! I have such appreciation for all the time that you must have put into this book. I so love all the twists and turns and free movement in time! Just spectacular! ;)
I just reached the part where Wheeler stripped down and walked off the mound! Wow.... such a gutsy move with the character... Being an athlete all my life and around baseball as a coach for so many years... that was a very powerful statement... Exactly what it meant, I don't think I understand, but ... as the story unfolds, I'm sure it will make more sense.
Always a fan of history, my entire life, I can say that you've really made me think about things, places and times and one event leading to the next! My daughter, an avid reader, gave me your book and told me that I would just love it. She was right!
I hope you made some money off your work, but more importantly, I hope you enjoyed the process. I do hope that you understand the hours of entertainment you've given the world!
And... time will tell, but I believe I'm reading what will be considered a classic of our time!
