Book Reviews of The Lost Books of the BibleBook Review: Lost Books of Bible Review Summary: 5 Stars
Lost Books are VERY good scripture that was taught to Christians in the first century A.D.. A particularly great text is in Bartholomew where abortion is directly addressed and is CLEARLY forbidden, something you cannot find in traditional, canonized scripture.
Book Review: Bad Compilation Summary: 1 Stars
Although compiled by someone who is supposedly an English expert, the manner in which verses are compiled in the book is much like ready on very long run-on sentence. More thought should have been given to a format that is more readable.
Book Review: Excellent book! Very insightful! Summary: 5 Stars
An incredible resource for all Christians. Gospel of Nicodemus gives incredible insight to events surrounding the Crucifixion. Very insightful works also attributed to Clement, Barnabas, Hermas and letters sent between Herod and Pilate.
Book Review: Interesting ancient Christian writings Summary: 4 Stars
A collection of ancient Christian documents, some of which were considered and rejected when the New Testament was being compiled. I found it very interesting, particularly regarding Jesus's and Mary's childhoods.
Book Review: Helpful historical writings Summary: 5 Stars
Over the years I have often referred to this book for references and insight into some of the earliest writings of the Christian communities. The book of Barnabas as well as the Clementine letters are invaluable.
