The Master Key by Haanel follows the publication in the late 1880's of the book of the same name by Deslauriers. The fundamental principles espoused in both volumes are the foundational stuff of success in all aspects of being. While there are many excellent works which seek to explicate the human essence from a perspective of oneness, The Master key by Haanel is a Masterwork. Having read the book repeatedly over some twenty years I find each re-reading illuminates in my mind and hence my life, ever-new understandings of our greater reality. As a psychotherapist I have assisted others to a deeper realization of their positive, productive and incredibly powerful state of connectedness. The Master Key by Haanel dispells the imagery of mythology to strengthen and affirm our instrinsic strength, worthiness and unity. Take the books advice and go slowly. I have been using and studying the principals of thought for many years. This book is something of a classic in the world of mind-stuff and I would consider it a "must read" for any student of self improvement. I particularly like the simple system Mr Haanel uses to break down each "chapter/lesson" into small steps that only comprise a few pages of extremely well thought out material. It is very easy to read and follow although one might find that if its their first introduction to the mind-stuff that they are going to most likely need to read it more than once. However, I have found myself reading the Haanel book for the third time and like Think and Grow Rich and You Were Born Rich, its the kind of material that one can read every year and still get a refreshing new viewpoint along with a great lesson to take control of your life!Book Review: Digging for Gold

Well, one reviewer tossed his copy in the trash. This is quite unfortunate.
I can only hope the garbage man found it and is now living a new life of purpose and power. Perhaps the poor soul who tossed the book away will become his employee some day...
This book has that sort of power, if it is actually read and *acted upon*. The author has proof of concept in the accomplishments of his own life.
The validation for this system is found with the practice suggestions contained in each module. I humbly suggest that each reader do these practices after reading the associated section. This action will make the difference between genuine personal development and stale philosophical musing.

Book Review: Meditation is the key

I finished reading this gem of a book a couple weeks ago and I began practicing the meditations scrupulously. I am now experiencing several positive changes in my life. The changes are too personal for me to write about. However, all I can say is I'm indeed blessed to have found the "one" good self help book that I had been looking for, all my life. It is just not good enough just thinking positively, you have to think positively with FEELING. And, the only way to do that is by disciplined everyday meditation for atleast fifteen to twenty minutes without fail. The more you practice the more magnetic you become, to attract whatever you want in life.
Buy and read this gem, it will tell you how!

A friend first sent me this book about two years ago. I was delighted to see as I read that wisdom as expressed by C.F. Haanel is actually ancient wisdom of multi-cultures. It is facinating to note that much of what he expresses are from aboriginal as well as oriental cultures. His depth of knowledge is remarkable. The exercises scientifically back up what many people have thought to be mysterious or magic. His way of teaching is easy to follow. The exercises very astute. Anyone who is interested in awakening the power of the mind, reaching their own path to enlightenment and deeper success would be well advised to read the entire series. Nothing works however unless you do so be prepared to apply the laws of the universe.
