I started out liking this book but grew to resent the fact that even in the face of cancer Kelly didn't appreciate the love and respect of her husband. How disappointing that she continued to value her relationship with her father more than her husband and children. How terribly sad for her family to have to compete with her father. Please wake up Kelly before it is too late.Book Review: Honest and authentic

Kelly Corrigan writes from the heart in a way that makes it easy to identify with, to feel her feelings, and that puts a smile on ones face and brings the tears forth, too. Her writing sometimes makes me wonder why I can't write my thoughts in the same common sense, common person way. This book is a good read for everyone!Book Review: A pleasant surprise...

Book Review: Funny and heartfelt -- a wonderful read

I wasn't eager to read this book, but grabbed it because I wanted something short for an airplane trip and didn't have time to search further. It was a great surprise -- I absolutely loved it. It's an insightful look at family relationships and at dealing with personal trials, told with lots of warmth and humor. A real gem.
