I just finished this book for the 2nd time in a 24 hour window! Read it last night in bed till 2:00 AM and went through it again today with my highlighter and took notes. I have an appt tomorrow with my internist. I am on testosterone replacement for 2 years with wonderful results (earlier blood work indicated almost no testosterone in my system). However, I still felt something was off balance as I started having peri-menopausal symptoms. After reading Dr Platt's book, I realize that I have many of the symptoms of low progesterone. I am so relieved to be able to identify what I think is wrong. I am sure that the blood work will back me up.
Dr Platt's book is easy for the average person to read and interpret and gave me great insight into all the nuances of hormone deficiency. My current doctor is very well versed in testosterone deficiency [...] and is just starting to work with the bio-identical hormones. I am bringing Dr Platt's book with me tomorrow and already emailed my doctor a link to this amazon book page.
