Book Reviews of The Morrow Guide to Knots: for Sailing, Fishing, Camping, ClimbingBook Review: One of the most comprehensive books on Knots anywhere! Summary: 4 Stars
Mario Bigon and Guido Regazzoni have put together one of the finest collections of knots in print. The many color photos, and use of different colored ropes illustrating the methods used to tie the knots are impressive. Overall, I would classify this book as one of the most comprehensive books on Knots anywhere!
Book Review: Too much repetition Summary: 3 Stars
It might have 256 pages, but it sometimes uses up 5 pages to show one knot. And then it'll show multiple ways to do same knot. So, there might be 20 pages to show you to do one useless knot that you'll never use. I was looking for some neat knots to use on my boat, and I didn't find any in here...
Book Review: Why Knot Summary: 5 Stars
I love knot books and this one in particular because they use differnt color ropes in the sketches and illustrations to make more sense out of a sketch where you acn not figure out the written directions because remember you guys - IT is unmanly to read - us guys need pictures lots of them.
Book Review: The Morrow Guide to knots Summary: 4 Stars
I really have not had time to do a good review of the book. But give the pictures in the guide, it looks like they did a good job in the step by step process. I know showing how to tie knots in 2-D is difficult at best. But this book will help. Thanks !
Book Review: Knot tying made easy Summary: 5 Stars
This book is the best on the market for learning how to tie knots. Using different colored lines and step-by-step instructions, anyone can learn a few basic knots for everyday use or the more complicated knots for specialty applications.
