Book Reviews of The NecronomiconBook Review: It's real Summary: 5 Stars
What I have experienced can not be said in a 1000 words. I have read the Necronomicon over many times. THIS BOOK IS FOR REAL. It's happening now Alma Michigan. Anyone who doubts this (which most probably will) I am sorry that everyone does not know what's happening. A (former) friend of mine is very powerful and used this book for a basis to unlock the gates to hell. A few of my friends know of this, we are all part of this and we're trying to stop him. Only time will tell what will happen. We know he has made a deal with the devil. I've seen my friends lash out in his presence. He possesed Kathrine tonight, I was there. It's so hard to explain this logically (not sounding like i'm obsessed). But soon enough you will all believe. I'm still not sure if (Alma Michigan) is the only place this is happening...it could be happening all over. If you could only understand the truth i am speaking and from experience, i can just feel that it is real. The only way i could possibly find out if this is the only place this is happening is hopee that if you're having similar experience you should e-mail me your thoughts. IT IS HAPPENING NOW 2000 THE CHOSEN YEAR... I HOPE SOMEONE CAN JUST BELIEVE ME.
Book Review: Just one of those versions rounding around... Summary: 2 Stars
The the real name of the author is Abd al-Azrad what means "whom who adores the great strangler", not Abdul al-Hazrad "the slave of X". The error was made when they translated to the greek, the latin version of the original traslation from the original. The original one has not only the myths, it has stelar maps and description of the rituals. This one is the version, of the translation, fragment of the version, of the other translation, of the last version. If you want to give you a "little view" of what it was, from a Lovercraft view... it is ok.
Book Review: Real serious stuff Summary: 1 Stars
The question that springs to mind, is whether this is all real or not. I tremble in my soul every time I even think about this book or talk aboutit. And looking at Orthodox Christian books, was like a light, dispelling the darkness this book brings with it. The anceint Sumerians were onto something that we, as modern man, can't even understand or fathom, and since the book warns you that there is no way of banishing the forces invoked, I would say there is your warning right there. When I don't want to believe in Orthodox Christianity as the Way, I think about this book and what it has done to me, my whole entire life. I believe that Orthodox Christianity is the only way out once you've brought this book into your life. Look in the yellow pages, under "Orthodox Christian" and attend the service and talk to the priest, get baptized or exorcised, whatever it takes to save yourself from the demons of darkness contained in the spells of this book. Orthodox Christianity is a hard road to go, and you will still be attacked by the demons, but it's the only way. Whenever I want to to disbelieve Orthodoxy's teachings, I think about this book "N" and I tremble in my aoul......
Book Review: Where is mr. Simon? Not here on this earth, most likely. Summary: 1 Stars
I gave up listening to this mexican radio talk show which airs nationally in the country. On this show, they talk about the occult, possessed children with tiny horns [and who live in mexico-but they are stories which don't make the six o'clock news, or the front page newspaper story for the major papers], ghosts, etc., But there was this story in particular that called my attention. What happens to the brujos, or these magick men who sell their soul to the prince of this world, satan. According to the people of this small town in mexico, it was said that this magick man (the brujo) was seeking a recruit in the town in order to take over. But the mission was not accomplished, and the people of the town said(and these are no myths at all, because satanism is really heavy in mexico), that the man was ripped up the devil because his time was up. That was the pact between them two. This could be the same situation for Simon. I tell you nicely, but do not enter this stuff. Enjoy your life, and live peacefully without any type of magick in your life. Just go to a good church and follow Jesus! We are in the last times....before tribulation period before antiChrist arises onto world scene.
Book Review: Fake or real? I vote fake. Summary: 3 Stars
I have been reading any source I could find to see if the Necronomicon was real or fake. To this day I am not sure. After reading this one though, I say that this copy is most likely a fake. I have read [where others]say the book levitated, gave them nightmares, and when they tried the ceremonies strange things happen. I bought the book, laid it on my bookcase and set the alarm for 3 am. The book was not levitating. I felt no evil intelligence inhabiting it. When I read the book it seemed to be a nice creation of an occultist that enjoyed HP Lovecraft and Babylonian/Sumerian mythology. It is a good story, but I believe this version to be just that, a story. Do the summonings work? I would not doubt it. If you send out an invitation, something will come. If you read Modern Magic by Kraig he has a possible explanation of why it works in the back of this book. All in all I am glad that I read it and bought it. Would I summon something using it? No. But I wouldn't play with matches in an oil refinery either. Light a spark and you never know what is flammable nearby. Do I think it is a genuine article? No. Just my opinion though.
