I don't live too far from the New, have fished it many times. Bruce is right on target with book. If you have never been there this book gives you all the info you need for a fun trip. Not only good maps but excellent projected float times from point to point. Also he is a fisherman and you know what kind of pool formation to expect and how to navigate each rapid. Lastly, you won't blunder into danger. The best I've seen.
