Book Review: More! More! More!

Just when you think the story can't surprise you any more, there's another twist! This series just keeps going strong, and even if you weren't thrilled with the last book, give this one a try. I enjoyed the last book, but even I have to admit this one is much better.
One of the nice things about this book was the presence of some red herrings. The influx of characters that didn't have a lot of previous mention (though both Marshal and her mom have made appearances) rounded out the story and gave you a lot to think about. There were multiple storylines weaving together, and they all seemed to work well. None of them seemed out of place or shoe-horned in out of convenience, and that takes some talent.
I still take issue with some of the word choices, though they weren't as glaringly obvious in print form. My eyes could skim over the overly-used phrases (like 'wire-tight' and 'grey silk'), making them easier to handle. Fewer adjectives, and if they must be used... mix them up a little!
The story ends on what feels like a final note, and yet leaves you wanting more! I will be getting my hands on the next book as soon as it comes out. Recommended to anyone who enjoys supernatural fiction, though I'd strongly recommend starting at book one and working through them in order.
Note: I'd listened to the rest of the series as an audiobook, and they changed companies/narrators for this book. I listened to two minutes, and the narrator attempted Jenks's voice, and I stopped. It was awful. I recommend the print version of this book *only*, especially if you've listened to the previous books and liked the voices.
