Book Reviews of The Outlaw Demon Wails (The Hollows, Book 6)

Book Review: Possibly the best book in the series
Summary: 5 Stars

This book has a much faster plot and more complex than the previous 2 books For a Few Demons More and A Fistful of Charms (Rachel Morgan, Book 4) are not as strong but help establish characters in the series have good plots and are very good reads. I would recommend them as well as Dead Witch Walking (Rachel Morgan, Book 1) which introduces the characters and the world they live in.

This book has a very nicely intertwined plot with excellent characters and some supprise twists. Humor is back as Rachel and Trent are at the roller rink and Trent gets the best costume (its Halloween) as Trent and Rachel is told her hair is too kinky for the best costume as Rachel.

May well be the best book in the series; a truly outstanding read.

Book Review: Can't wait for the next one!
Summary: 5 Stars

In this book Rachel is still mourning Kisten's death, but trying to move on with her life and grow up as well. Things are complicated by Al slipping out of jail. Rachel works out how to protect herself and the ones she loves from the threat of Al.

I loved the book, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the next one. Harrison has allowed her heroine to take a good look at herself and realize she needs to make better choices in life. She's always been an adrenaline junkie, but now she's realizing the costs. It's a well done show of a character growing as her situation changes. We get more of her relationship with her mother, bringing more depth as well. There is also some significant information about her father to add to the mix.

All the usual side characters are present, and I'm glad to see things working themselves out with these characters. There are still plenty of loose ends for another book, but this one was able to tie up many that have been hanging from the first book.

Book Review: Simply LOVE IT!!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This series is a wonderful surprise. I read this in one gulp of fresh air - it's humorous, very real and the characters are so detailed that you actually feel that you know them in your real life!
So many reviews here compare it to Anita Blake, but I read the first few books in that series - and NOTHING compares to Rachel Morgan.
First off, Rachel Morgan is a much more complex individual, and Harrison creates a world of characters that you actually care for. In Anita Blake, I didn't feel any sympany for her or anything bad that happened to her . Moreover, the story is so stupidly plain and simple that leaves no room for imagination.
I also tried to read the Dresden files (read 2 books) - AWEFUL!!!!!!
The closest I could find to the style of writing and the intricate little things that happen all around in the book is the Sookie Stackhouse series which I also am thorouly enjoying right now. Can't wait for the next book in the Rachel Morgan series!!!

Book Review: Really Glad I bought this book
Summary: 4 Stars

After reading the last book I was debating on whether or not I was going to buy this one. I am pleased that I followed my gut and got it. I was completely thrown by the turn of events and the story line really held me. I wanted to skip to the end just to find out what was going to happen but, I was good and I read the whole thing :) Shocks and twists at every turn and shocking revelations that made you say "OMG No Way!) what more can a girl as for.

Although I know many people may disagree with me but, I think that Rachel and Ivy would be great together. Rachel loves her more than she realises and I think that she is scared about her feelings because, this is something new for her. Ivy will love her no matter what and she will always stand in her corner and let her make her own decisions even when she doesn't agree. Marshall is a nice guy but I doubt that he will ever accept the lifestyle that Rachel has or the the job that is constantly putting her in danger.

Book Review: I can't stop reading
Summary: 5 Stars

I just finished this book. And it always surprises how much this series has grabbed onto me. I started reading this series when the second book came out (I still haven't gotten a chance to read the first book.) I thought that I would start growing tired of this series and jsut give up on reading (That happens to me with a lot of series.) But Kim's books are so well-written that I can't stop reading them. She has created such great characters that I care about a lot. And her attention to detail is really good. There are some plot twists throughout the series that I never would've seen coming. Which definitely surprised me because I can usually figure out the twists in a book way before they happen. I just realized that instead of reviewing just this novel, I kind of reviewed the entire series haha. But either way, if you've never read a book in this series or started reading the books but quit, you sohuld seriously pick this one up.
