Book Review: Where is Jeffrey?
Summary: 4 Stars
This first half of this book was a little slow, but the second half was very exciting. We liked all the parts of the plot, Jane and Skye's trick, the Bugman, and the kids taking the battery. We thought that Mr. Pen was dating Iantha, but we were surprised when it turned out that he was thinking about a character in a book. But all is well that end's well. But what about Jeffrey and Skye/Jane. We are looking forward to the next Penderwicks book!Book Review: The Penderwicks on Gardam Street

I thoroughly enjoyed the first of the Penderwicks books, but Jeanne Birdsall's writing is even better in this second book. The characters are stronger and the adults believable. Here's a story with a functional family, able adults, gentle angst, and girls who are creative in the way that I was creative as a girl.Book Review: Pitch Perfect Children's Classic
