Book Reviews of The Penderwicks on Gardam StreetBook Review: A Kid's Review Summary: 4 Stars
The Penderwicks on Gardam Street is a great book by Jeanne Birdsall. Although it wasn't as trilling as The Penderwicks, I enjoyed it very much. This book made me laugh while reading and I love reading it over again. I recommend this book to readers age levels 9-12.
Book Review: The Penderwicks on Gardam Street Summary: 5 Stars
At first, when I read the book, I didn't think I would like it because the beginning was somewhat boring. Then I read the book a little further, and found that the book was very exciting. When I got to that point in the book, I couldn't put it down!
Book Review: Our Daughter Loves It Summary: 4 Stars
Very nicely written, with vivid, enjoyably eccentric characters. Also great as a shared family "read." Our daughter followed up by taking it to bed and on the school bus to read again and again. We all look forward to the sequel's sequel.
Book Review: Wonderful Story Line Summary: 5 Stars
This book has realistic characters and a believable plot. It is a quick read for any adult who enjoys quality children's literature. It made me look for and purchase the first book in this family series, which was equally as good.
Book Review: Very engaging novel Summary: 5 Stars
A nicely-paced sequel to the first Penderwicks novel. Entertaining with a lot of charm, in an old-fashioned sense. It cleverly tells a family story without having to be graphic or sarcastic. I highly recommend this!
