Book Reviews of The Potty Book - For Boys

Book Review: This hands down the best book for boys transitioning from diapers
Summary: 5 Stars

I have so many books on potty training, specifically for boys, and this book is the easiest to understand for a two year old. At this stage of mimicking people, it works far better than all the others because it tells a little boy's story and uses a flushing toilet sound for praise. My son takes it with him in the bathroom on his own.

Book Review: Must Have!
Summary: 5 Stars

This little book is great. I purchased a potty chair for my son at 12months. He learned quickly. He is now 16 months and wants this book read to him EVERY TIME he goes to the potty. He is learning words and colors, so this book has been very educational for him. This is a must have for all toddlers in the potty training stage.

Book Review: Catchy, and Fun.
Summary: 5 Stars

We read this to our twin boys every time we sit them on the potty. It helps them relax, and get excited to go. I don't think this is useful as a guide to potty train your child, but it is a cute little book that will encourage them, and keep their interest. Both of my sons have learned to recite the book themselves they love it!

Book Review: Buy a different book!
Summary: 1 Stars

This book sucks. It didn't keep my kids attention because the picture didn't look like a toilet or a potty seat. It looks like a blue circle. Get one of the lift a flap books instead--at least they have a real looking toilet and a kid that could be a boy or a girl--use it for more than one child. Don't bother with this one.

Book Review: Cute pictures, very appropriate.
Summary: 4 Stars

I wanted a book that not only I could read to my son, but one that I would feel comfortable letting a baby sitter read to him. This gets the point across and doesn't go into a lot of detail about what body parts are named. I can read this as a regular story without my son even knowing I am "teacing" him. I like that.
