This journal is very good for a start. I mean I don't need The secret gratitude book later on, and I can probably use any other blank journal. The secret gratitude book teaches you how to express your gratitude, and, on the opposite page - how to write your gratitude intentions. Morever, it contains a lot of quotations and is beautifully made. And it is perfect for writing every day a few sentences expressing your gratitude.Book Review: Not what i expected

Advantages: This book has a very elegant leatherish cover with a magnetic lock. There are wise quotes scattered at the bottom of each page
Disadvantage: Basically its similar to a lined notebook except it has has really fancy cover. Disappointed for the lack of content.
However if someone is interested in a fancy notebook to write your daily gratitudes, then this is worth your purchase.

My wife and I use this gratitude book daily and I can honestly say, along with all of the other wonderful things The Secret has to offer, its useful, and very inspiring to write each day and remember what there is in this world to be grateful for, even if its just for the lead in your pencil...

Not that you need a Gratitude Book, a pad of paper would serve the same purpose, but having the book strengthens your desire to participate. It is only through participation that you connect with the true power of mankind. It allows you to be an example for others on the true power of the mind by guiding you through your own personal evolution.Book Review: Not what I was looking for

I bought this along with "The Secret" book and DVD and also "The Secret to Teen power." I thought it was going to be more like a workbook with ideas of how to put the secret to work but instead it is more like a blank diary with a few motivational quotes thrown in here and there. Very nicely made but could make due with a $3 diary from Wal'Mart.
