Book Reviews of The Secrets of the Federal Reserve

Book Review: The Underground History of American Finance
Summary: 5 Stars

An acquaintance of mine whose intelligence and erudition I highly regard recommended this book to me after a prolonged query on my part pertaining to the ultimate origins and particular causes of our national debt. Having never heard of either the title or author of this work, I began an internet investigation into who he is or was and what he had written about.

To my enormous surprise, what I found was an avalanche of highly emotional accusations about Eustace Mullins being a virulent anti-semite, southern redneck racist, and virtual Hitler worshipper. This aroused no small amount of shock and puzzlement on my part due to the terribly discordant juxtaposition of the comments regarding the author and the fact that the man who recommended this book to me is an Orthodox Jewish professor. Something was terribly awry. At this point in my inquiry I absolutely HAD TO read this book - if only to make some sense of this apparently irreconsilable dichotomy.

What first struck me when I received the book was how slim a volume it is - I was expecting a weighty tome dealing with the infinite minutiae of international financial markets and global commerce. As I began to read, what I found was a pleasantly written history book - well documented and rather impartial in its delivery. It felt like a conversationally-toned lecture on a quiet afternoon. And although I continued to read this engaging book over the ensuing three days with a very critical eye out for any sign, however subtle, of anti-semitism or Nazi idolatry, to my utter amazement I found not a single syllable of any such matter. Not one syllable! In fact, chapter seven of the book is entitled "The Hitler Connection", wherein the author explains the involvement of the J. Henry Schroder Banking Company of Germany in Hitler's rise to power. I searched in vain for a single solitary anti-semitic remark throughout the entire book - or at least an indirect comment or vague allusion to anything even remotely resembling such a thing. Nothing! Nowhere!

When I finished the book I felt strangely indignant. It had answered most of my questions about the origins of our current monetary crisis - and done so in ways, and to a degree, I would never have thought possible. But I couldn't understand all the false accusations levelled at this book and its author on the internet. One of the commentaries I had read even stated that this was the most anti-semitic work ever penned. What?! Where?! Had those people ever even read this book?

I've learned some very valuable lessons in the last few months. Some by reading and some by conversing with the man who recommended this book to me. One of the key issues plaguing this chaotic world we inhabit is a political ideology called Zionism, which is vehemently opposed by many Orthodox Jews around the world, in the same way that many Germans opposed Nazism during the thirties and forties. To call someone anti-Nazi is not to suggest they're anti-German, since most Germans today are fiercely anti-Nazi. Likewise, someone who is anti-Zionist is not therefore anti-Jewish, since many Jews are themselves anti-Zionist. Eustace Mullins was anti-Zionist, as is the Orthodox Jewish professor who suggested I read this important book. This distinction of terms is a crucial one to understand, so as not to be misled and easily deceived.

If I could give this book more than five stars, I would because it has opened my eyes to a larger reality than only the financial manipulation of international markets. It has helped me understand the widespread mental manipulation of mankind. And that's worth more than a handful of stars.

In order to more comprehensively grasp the many details of our collectively inhabited and colossally constructed edifice of illusion, the following books are enthusiastically recommended: Propaganda: The Formation of Men's Attitudes by Jacques Ellul; The Coming Battle: A Complete History of the National Banking Money Power in the United States by M.W. Walbert; Money: Ye shall have honest weights and measures by James E. Ewart; Foundations: Their Power and Influence by Rene A. Wormser; History of the Great American Fortunes by Gustavus Myers; and last but not least Thy Will Be Done, The Conquest of the Amazon: Nelson Rockefeller and Evangelism in the Age of Oil by Gerard Colby and Charlotte Dennet.

Summary of The Secrets of the Federal Reserve

Mullins presents some bare facts about the Federal Reserve System with subjects on: it IS NOT a U.S. government bank; it IS NOT controlled by Congress; it IS a privately owned Central Bank controlled by the elite financiers in their own interest. The Federal Reserve elite controls excessive interest rates, inflation, the printing of paper money, and have taken control of the depression of prosperity in the United States.
