Book Reviews of The ShopkeeperBook Review: not bad, but not great Summary: 2 Stars
I was disappointed, after reading other reviews I was expecting a better story. It is well written, and easy to read, but just not exciting at all. The characters were uninspiring, the plot was boring. Not worth my $11, or whatever it was I paid for it.
Book Review: The Shopkeeper Summary: 4 Stars
Takes you back to the Old West; the gun slinging, the politics, and how everything starts at the General Store. This is a "guy" book with a bit of romance for the women readers. An entertaining first novel, I was pleasantly surprised!
Book Review: Totally Enjoyed! Summary: 5 Stars
This book came up on my recommendations, so I gave it a shot. I am very glad I did. It transported me to another time and it was mesmerizing at points. I immediately purchased 'Leadville' and am looking forward to escaping again :)
Book Review: Great western for people who don't like westerns and for those who do Summary: 4 Stars
I enjoyed the tales of this shopkeeper. I hated when I ran out of pages to read. Even though this is a western, I didn't feel like it was one of my Grandpa's westerns. I loved it, and it is not the type of fiction I normally pick.
Book Review: What an awesome western! Summary: 5 Stars
This western was the best book I have ever read. It kept me up every night until I finished the book. I'm generally not interested in western books, but this one is awesome. I look forward to the next Steve Dancy adventure.
