Book Reviews of The Tin StarBook Review: The best book so far... Summary: 5 Stars
My favorite book from my favorite author, J.L Langley.
She is great, really good writer. I love all her books,
but this is my favorite, not in the means the others is
not great. I've read this book three times, but it still
chill me out. There is something about this book that
makes me can't forget. You'll know it, when you read
this book. If I'm a producer, I'll definitely turn this
book into a movie.
Now, I can't wait to get my copy of Broken H, #2 of ranch
series by this author. The story is about sheriff Hunter.
Book Review: There's a book in here somewhere Summary: 1 Stars
I was extremely disappointed in this book. The book holds real promise and has a great plot. What I didn't like was that several times throughout the book the author crams major plot points and events into three or four but doesn't hesitate to spend six to ten pages describing the main characters having sex. Now there's nothing wrong with sex, but to condense several days and weeks worth of important events into a few paragraphs, only to be followed by a six page blow by blow of quickie is beyond ridiculous. I expected much more from this book.
Book Review: Tin Star Summary: 5 Stars
I got this book about a week ago and during my free time i could not put it down. Well written and had some awesome characters with some very opinionated views. The books shows the ugly side of the world we live in with people and "opinions" on whats right and whats wrong. Story can be very much believable, if this story has ever happened to someone, or something similar to it i applaud them. Gives a guy with a jaded heart a little hope of what could happy. I very much enjoyed this book. (P.S. great sex in this thing)
Book Review: Gold Star Romance Summary: 5 Stars
I liked this book. The story of James and Ethan as lovers and friends had me rooting for a happy ending. But everything did seem to go their way. The couple had no conflicts, which meant that the conflict came from outside the relationship (gay bashing and physical violence). But rarely do you meet people so in tuned with each other. Maybe that's why it's called fiction. This didn't keep me from rating it 5 stars.
This is probably a better love story than Chris Owen's "Bareback", but not a better book.
Book Review: Great book, but a bit hot Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this book because I wanted to read a nice gay romance, and I liked the published description. As it turns out, the book is quite good and very readable, but it's pretty hot. I started reading it on a plane to another city, and let's just say I had to use my airplane blanket for more than just to keep myself warm. Although it definitely isn't full-out down and dirty, reading it could get a little embarassing in the wrong situation if you know what I mean. However, if you're home alone, go for it!
