Book Reviews of The Wandmaker's Guidebook

Book Review: A must have
Summary: 5 Stars

This was an amazing product! My daughter loves the Harry Potter series and this book was the perfect gift to encourage reading and imagination. She has spent hours going through this book and is taking her time in picking the right ingredients for her wand. We have had an enjoyable experience with this book and as a parent I could not be more pleased with this product. I would encourage anyone to purchase this book.

Book Review: A Great Book
Summary: 5 Stars

Although this is a copy of the ology books, it is better than all of them. My son likes it because the information inside can actually be used. For example: in Wizardology, you make a potion with poppy flowers and phoenix feathers. Where can my son get phoenix feathers? This book tells real oils to use for wands and provides lots of history. It provides an astonomical chart.

Book Review: Good Choice
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this for my eight-year-old son for Christmas. He has enjoyed all of the "ology" books such as Egyptology, Dragonology etc. This was pretty much the first gift he wanted to explore on Christmas morning. He enjoyed reading it, and then creating his personalized wand. It kept his interest for quite some time. Glad I got it; it's a great addition to the collection

Book Review: Very well written for children 9+
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this book for my 10 year old daughter for Xmas. After opening the book, I was mesmerized myself! This book seem so real for me, I can imagine what great things it would do for children! My daughter has probably gone through the book at least 5 times in 2 weeks. Definitely recommend for children 9+ who enjoy reading about fantasy, history, medieval times.

Book Review: Eh... it's what it is.
Summary: 3 Stars

My daughter wanted this book really bad. For $5 I figured why not. The book is okay. It's fun for the first couple of days but then it's boring and ends up on the shelf. Maybe the release of the newest HP movie will bring it back into the spotlight. It's not a bad book... but I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it. These have sold for upwards of $20 in the past.
