Book Review: "romantic"? yikes.

I'm actually a little surprised I made it all the way through this one. It was a short read -- I guess it DOES have that going for it. Otherwise, this is typical pappy crap, with a little too much religious sentiment for my taste. I was actually relieved that the author was a man, because this book very neatly proved that men can also write sentimental, "romantic" drivel. Of course, who else but a man could so overly simplify and romanticize motherhood as the end-all and be-all of a woman's life? Read this only if you regularly say the phrase "family values" without invoking a sense of irony.
