Book Review: Buy it if you have a bad back

Wow, it works. I've always used the old abdominal exercises when my back pained me. I still think they should be done after you relieve the pain which this does much faster. I have DDD & from time to time my back acts up for a reason or for no reason at all & this takes away the pain faster. Now if I just had the disclipine to do my back strengthing exercises when it didn't hurt I could likely avoid a re-ocurance. Buy it, follow the instructions & when the pain is gone try & follow a back strengthening program for life, yes Virginia, for life or you'll be using this book again.

I bought this book on a friends recommendation, after suffering for 2 weeks with a pinched nerve in my lower back. What a blessing! Applying the methods and easy exercises and stretches, eased the pain almost immediately. After 35 years of being a carpenter, I thought the back pain was just something I would have to live with. NOT TRUE! Following the recommendations in this book will not only relieve the aches and pains, but help to prevent future back injuries. My back has never felt better. I highly recommend this book to anyone with back problems.

My reason for ordering this book was to help treat a nagging lower back issues from heavy lifting. Once the weight gets to your body's limits there is a lot of tension put on your lower back, so you will have tightness. Using the techniques in the book, I've been able to eliminate most tightness from proper warm up, more rapidly recover from tightness, and increase my lifts due to better mobility. Great back, even if you don't have back issues I think people should take the hr to read this helpful book.

Several years ago I was having back pain that was quite disabling. I could not walk any distance without pain in my lower back and left leg. A friend recommended this book to me, and by doing the suggested exercises I was almost back to normal in two or three weeks. In a very concise way, the author explains the anatomy of the spine and nerves that cause most kinds of lower back pain. He then gives exercises to cure the problem. I have been recommending this book and giving it to friends ever since.

THIS BOOK HAS GIVEN ME A WAY TO MANAGE MY LOWER BACK PAIN AND HIP PAIN AND MORNING STIFFNESS, I AM A YOUNG 62 AND I GARDEN FROM MORNING TIL DARK I LIFT BIG ROCKS AND MOVE SOME REALLY HEAVY STUFF, I AM ALWAYS SORE SOMETIMES CAN'T STRAIGHTEN UP BY NIGHT AND ROLL AND CRAW OUT OF BED, ROBIN MCKENZIE 'S BOOK IS SO SIMPLE AND REALLY WORKS I DO THE FIRST THREE EXERCISES EVERY MORNING AND THE FOURTH ANYTIME I START TO HURT WHILE BENDING OVER WEEDING, IT'S LIKE A MIRACLE HOW QUICKLY I CAN BE PAIN FREE.
