Book Reviews of Treat Your Own BackBook Review: Very helpful !! Summary: 5 Stars
Some of the techniques mentioned here are very good.. I mean the exercises that are supposed to be done in particular order. However I also saw orthopedist and the went for physical therapy for several months for my herniated disc problem. It was too late when I learnt about this book, but I am now following it to avoid any disc issues in future. If those who have any back pain or slipped disc problem , Realspace pro quantum mesh midback chair has been very helpful to me.( Google for it!)
Book Review: Definately helps, easy to do Summary: 5 Stars
This book came VERY highly recommended by my doctor. At first it sounds like a big time-consuming project, but the exercises are actually quite simple and easy. They were not what I had expected at all. I was thinking it was more exercise-like, but is actually just stretches. And I definately feel better, and can tell when I've been slacking off. I highly recommend this book, and have actually purchased a copy for a family member as well (can't part with my copy!).
Book Review: Great book Summary: 5 Stars
This is the third one of these books I have gotten, or maybe the forth. I give them to back pain sufferers since I know personally how helpful it was to me. Well written and easy to follow. Not for every back problem but for the most common back pain it is right on. I have had far less back pain in the last 15 years than in any of the previous 40 years and am in my 70s now. Arthur (itis) is taking over now but, unfortunately, the book won't stop that.
Book Review: How to fix your back and keep it right. Summary: 5 Stars
The old edition of this book was given to me by a physiotherapist 35 years ago when I had small children and had lower back pain. I have used it and have given it away many times over the years. It shows how to correct lower back problems due to strain and how to maintain a strong back to prevent pain. This new edition explains more and is very very good. Because of this book I have never needed to visit a chiropractor or any doctor for my back.
Book Review: BRAVO Summary: 5 Stars
I had surgery for two ruptured disks 15 years ago but have had chronic pain off and on ever since. I had tried a variety of other exercises with limited success. My doctor's niece is a physical therapist and had recommended the book to him and he passed on the advise.Within four days my pain disappeared and I have been pain free ever since. I can not recommend this book enough to people suffering from back pain. Buy it...you won't regret it!
