Book Review: A must read for everyone with a Stenotic Spine

Jim Johnson's book describes first, what was happening to the spine and then he answers the question of what will happen to your back over the long term. The rest of the book deals with the self treatment of spinal stenosis and monitoring your progress.
I had a spinal fusion when I was 18 and 2 ruptured discs repaired when I was 46. 20 years later, I had relentless pain over the glutes and down both legs and an inability to look up without pain that would put me on the ground instantly. Walking was challenging to say the least and I was probably happiest when I had a chance to sit. The MRI showed spinal stenosis and every doctor said I was done with surgery. Physio therapy consisted of Tens treatment followed by traction, both of which were less than moderately successful. Pills and pills...that was the answer.
I was surfing the net looking for anything that would help me. Then I spotted the title.."Treat Your Own Spinal Stenosis". I had nothing to lose but $ 35.00 and being as desperate as I was, I would have made a deal with the devil for some relief.
I have just ended week 4 of the program. Now, 75% of my days are good or great. I was in to see the doctor after week three and the nurse made a special comment about how well I was moving.
This book has done wonders for me. It gave me hope that I wasn't "done", and I am walking again, most of the time, pain free. I plan to stay on Mr. Johnson's program for the rest of my life, because 10 minutes a day has given me a future.
