Let's face it -- we all have a friend in life who has some serious issues, and though most friends don't have a deformed face, all want to be loved and to be told they are beautiful. In this book, Ann Patchett goes beyond the face and loves the heart and despite the flaws within the human heart, Ann extends much grace. I found myself examining my own friendships after reading this book, and am challenged to love hearts deeper.
