The map arrived quickly and well packaged. It is a paper map with no lamination, but it was exactly what I needed. I did a trifold display for a conference with the map as a background for pictures I was posting of disaster response teams throughout the US. It was the perfect size. This map is a bargain for the sheer size and detail (seriously, how many US maps put Hayward and Fremont, CA on them?). Whereas other maps I've owned are quite dull, the colors used to differentiate the states are quite vibrant and make this map actually enjoyable to look at.Book Review: US Rolled Map

The map itself is excellent. It is very colorful and the states are clear and simple to read. However the way it was sent damaged it so that when I took it out of the box it had crease marks. I was a bit disappointed as you can see it when you look at it on the wall.Book Review: Damaged

Damaged in shipping. Looks as if pkg, was hastily and carelessly "patched up". Map ended up creased.

I was happy to see that this map had major roads on it in light-grey. Not overpowering, but you can get a good view of them. Map was in perfect condition rolled up. (The plastic package was marked $4.95 and I paid $5.95, but worth it!)
