Book Reviews of Undead and Unwelcome (Queen Betsy, Book 8)Book Review: Email Overload Summary: 3 Stars
*yawn*
Too much cutesy email crap. Too much traveling, negotiating, blathering. What ~should~ have been a short story, a blip in a longer work, was stretched too thin.
On the plus side it was an extraordinarily fast and non-brain cell engaging read. Perfect for post-Christmas mental recovery.
Book Review: Undead & Unwelcome Summary: 4 Stars
This was another quirky romp in the Queen Betsy saga. As always, the wit & zippy dialogue were tasty brain candy. The Wyndam wolves (especially the future pack leader) were a nice change as well. Somehow, though, this book fell a little flat near the end with the sisters' battle. Overall, worth reading.
Book Review: It was....okay, I guess Summary: 3 Stars
This is another Betsy Taylor book were she has problems that only a vampire queen/suburban wife could possibly understand.
It wasn't horrible - wasn't the best. I still love Sinclair. I guess that is why I still read it. I wish she would write a book from his prospective.
Book Review: Undead vs Dead Summary: 1 Stars
Dead wins this round. This book is so bad in comparison to the first book in the series that it doesn't rate even being in the Undead series. Instead, it should go where all the other dead series go. Such a shame! The first several Undead books were so funny. Maybe it's time for Betsy to RIP.
Book Review: Too short Summary: 4 Stars
I was rather dissapointed in how short this book was. I am usually not the quickest reader, but it only took me one day to read this one. I still love the characters, and the story was a good one, but I wanted more! Would love to see the next Undead book be twice as long as this one was!
