Book Review: UNABRIDGED is far superior to this version

I prefer Unabridged always, but was unable to purchase book 3 and 4 as Unabridged copies. I listened to the first and second books and fell in love with the author and the reader was wonderful. In this abridged version you loose so much of the wonderful writing, and the reader although not bad, is different and I found it difficult to "get into it". There are musical interludes throughout which is when they skip the better part of the story so that you only get the gist of things. If you read or listened to the full copy, you will not be happy with this abridged version. I listened through but will find a way to find the Unabridged copy, who I do know is the same reader as book one and two. I cancelled my order for the Abridged version of the fourth book in this series. If you only listened to the abridged version, you would likely be pleased with this version, but if you heard the Unabridged versions, you will not feel satisfied listening to the abridged format. I was very disappointed and so was my Mother.
