Book Reviews of Warman's Zippo Lighters Field Guide: Values And Identification (Warman's Field Guides)Book Review: great companion guide Summary: 4 Stars
This book makes a great companion guide. Fair amount of general background information, quite a few pictures (with approximate valuations), and of course the necessary charts to identify the marks and identification of Zippos throughout the years. While not all-inclusive of all things Zippo, it makes a handy, compact guide that is easy to carry if one chose to take it to swap meets, auctions, and the like in the pursuit of a Zippo purchase. Other books exist that carry a lot more background and history of the Zippo company, it's founder, and products, but this one, as stated earlier, is a good companion piece. Recommended as a supplement or even a beginning book for the novice collector or the curious.
