Book Reviews of Weight Watchers New Complete CookbookBook Review: Great for Flex, weak for Core Summary: 3 Stars
I don't know why Weight Watchers doesn't have a Core-specific cookbook, but that's really disappointing. One of the reasons I'm interested in Weight Watchers in the first place is I don't know how to cook, and was hoping for good help in that department. The Core recipes are well marked and quick to find, but of the 500 recipies there are probably 200 that can be eaten on the Core plan max, if that many.
Book Review: Good Recipes Summary: 5 Stars
The book was in excellent condition. So far we have tried 2 recipes, "Southern Oven 'Fried' Chicken", which we added Lemon Pepper and Parsley to it... it was delicious! The other recipe was "Chicken Hash" and that was pretty good too. We always like to add some of our own ingredients and are planning to put Shredded low-fat cheese on top of it next time. We are looking forward to trying other recipes.
Book Review: Good recipes, good variety Summary: 4 Stars
The recipes included in this cookbook are really tasty. I don't "do" WeightWatchers, but I wanted a cookbook with healthier meal options. The only problem I have with the recipes is that it seems that a lot of them take a long time to prepare... I don't have a lot of time for that, chasing after a 3-year-old! But the ones I have tried are worth the effort!
Book Review: Great variety! Summary: 5 Stars
The recipies look yummy, there is a good variety and the ingredients are easy to find! The recipes don't call for fat free everything (most is low fat cheese or sodium free broth type stuff) so you still get a lot of good flavor! WW is great for loosing weight but I would eat this good even w/o being on the diet!
Book Review: Love It! Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this book in hopes I could find a few good recipes. Well, I love everyone I have tried so far, and so does the whole family. The recipes taste great and they are very good for you as well. I would recommend it to anyone, wheather your watching your weight or not!
