Book Review: Whore.....I Loved it!!!!!!

The story is about a beautiful young girl named Kamone who has had to sturggle from the day she was born. No one has ever shown what it's like to be loved, not even her own mama and daddy. Kamone's mother is a HIV infected prostitute who doesn't give a damn about her or her lil brother and sister. When Kamone's mother abandon's the three of them she has to take care of them the only way she knows how........which is to go on the stroll and make that money! Kamone has been through hell, but it aint nothing compared to what she will go through when she's set up to be beaten and raped. Her prince in shinig armor Lucci rescues her and gives her everything a girl could ever dream of. But will that be enough for Kamone? I give this books 5.5 stars that is how good this book is. Tanika Lynch did her thing. I was captivated from the first page until the last. She did a fantastic job for her first time. WHORE is a MUST read book for all AVID readers and Triple Crown fans. This book made me laugh and also made me cry. I thought it would never get any better for Kamone. But god had to put her through all them trials and tribulations in order for him to show her all her blessings to come. I cannot wait until she brings her next book out. I hope its a book that have cameos from Kamone and Lucci. Lucci was a good fellow but cannot say the same for his brother. You would just have to read the book in order for you to find out what happens. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED BY THIS ONE TRIPLE CROWN FANS.Book Review: Deserves 10 Stars!!!

OMG! When I say that this book had a sistah emotional I'm not lieing. Kamone went through so much at such a young age, and her story had my chest tight the entire time. Reading this book reminded me of "Footprints". Just when you think you've hit rock bottom and life can't get any worse for you than it already is, God shows you that he was there all along. This journey was just like in the picture where you only see one set of footprints. Those are the moments when God is carrying you through. This book touched me, and I think every young person, male and female should read this to see what struggle is really about.
Tanika, I don't know if you read your review, but you did the damn thing with this one and I will definitely be picking up your next work of fiction.
Book Review: Just wrong...

Okay, let me begin by saying this book did not do it for me at all. I was anticipating such a great story by all these great reviews, but the book was just about another light skin, long hair, uneducated ghetto chick, and a good looking, drug dealer. To make matters worse she was so young and although his age was never mention (some given details can provide an estimate) it was just wrong. I do not enjoy reading stories about grown man having sex with 15 yr olds whether they're in love, she's mature for her age or whatever. I've read a lot of street fiction and most of them tend to have young female protagonists, early twenties or late teens sometimes, but 15! come on, even the sex parts which are usually hot in street novels just seem dead wrong in that book.Book Review: Loved It!!!!!!!!!

From beginning to end, this book is great! When Kamone's mother walks out on her and her siblings, she has no choice but to become a prostitute @ 12 years old. She does what she has to do to take care of her family.
Kamone gets caught up in the life, and she finds herself in a very dangerous situation. Lucci comes along and rescues Kamone and her family, but her troubles are far from over. Lucci's crazy brother, who happens to be a cop, wants Kimone for himself, and will stop at nothing to get her.
Lucci provides a beautiful life for Kamone and the kids, but his brother wants to break up their happy home. Will his plans be successful?
Read and find out, you won't be disappointed.
