There are two areas of the business world where I feel completely like a fish out of water - wine and golf. These social skills aren't absolutely necessary, but sure feel darn close to it. This Dummies book really does demystify the wine peice, and makes it very understandable for those of us who think that Franzia is really good, and Burgundy is a color. I highly recommend the book for those who ae intimidated by the restaurant wine list, but are in the position of having to order off of it. 'Wine for Dummies' is a great book for anyone who drinks the fruit of the vine. Experts and newbies alike will learn from this fun, informative book by Ed McCarthy and Mary Ewing-Mulligan. Varietals are explained, the top wines of each region around the globe are pointed out, there is a pronounciation guide so we can figure out how to pronounce Pouilly-Fuisse, along with tips on which corkscrews work best. This is a really excellent book. I would consider it the second best wine book out there. The first being Windows on the World Complete Wine Course: 2007 Edition (Windows on the World Complete Wine Course). I suggest buying both to gain a thorough knowledge of wine.Book Review: Great Book

The book was in good condition, and it arrived very quickly. This book is perfect for people learning about wines, and all the "For Dummies" books are written in a very readable style, by authors who really know their stuff! The price was great, I would definitely recomend this seller.
