I am new to wire wrapping and have purchased several books that have been somewhat helpful but didn't give me that "aha" moment I was looking for. When I received this book I couldn't wait to try his step by step pictorial instructions. My first finished item actually looked like the one pictured in this book! I just got this book yesterday, and spent an hour or so last night browsing quickly through it. The basic projects are very clearly demonstrated via b/w pictures, and carefully explained in detail so that any beginner in wire wrapping can easily attempt their first project without frustration over directions. There are bits of advice scattered throughout the book that are, in my opinion, rather generous of the author to share.Book Review: Finally! I wrapped my first pendant!

I had all the wrong supplies (I only had round wire and the instructions called for square as well as half-round); I simply used the round wire and followed the great step-by-step photos. I am actually wearing a lovely pendant that I wrapped in simple hardware-store copper wire. I am fascinated and addicted. I'm starting a second project today. I love this book! This is a detailed manual that is a useful guide for the beginner who has little or no experience with wire wrapping. The sample projects are what attracted me to it in the first place. They have elegant, uncomplicated lines. Methods are written clearly and comprehensively. The amusing little comments by the author throughout the book make even the driest parts entertaining to read.Book Review: Pictures are worth a thousand words.

I saw this book in our library & had to get it. It has so many great close up pictures illustrating many techniques. It arrived in great condition, as all the books I have bought through Amazon.com have been. I have never been disappointed with any of my purchases.
